It was great to see so many of you back this week. I did miss you all last week -- you know how I worry :)
Great to see Sam back among us! Other than a few corrections because of scores recorded on the wrong
line of the traveler, today went smoothly. I know that you were not expecting to play that last round, so I
would like to just make a comment about it. We agreed last fall to start playing 15 minutes earlier so that
we could get a full game in by the time 12:30 rolled around. For whatever reason, the play today was VERY
SLOW, and I was determined to make it as fair a game as possible by having 12 rounds played. Although
you grumbled, you still remained and played that last round. Thanks to all of you, it was a very fair comparison
today. It's hard to imagine, but the play is actually SLOWER when we have just 2 boards rather than 3 per
round. As soon as we hit 16 tables we'll split into two sections, and play 3 boards per round.
